Commonly, anti virus software can block a programme from being downloaded. If this appears to have happened to you then turn off this item temporarily and click on the link that came with your Activation service email, this was titled 'Software Defender Service' and also contains your unique activation code. Check in your junk mail, or spam filter to see if the email has been placed there. If your mail protection is set too high this can sometimes happen.
You do need to activate the game on a machine with internet access. If your access is being blocked, it could be that your firewall/virus protection software is preventing this. You will have been prompted by your security software to allow/disallow this programme from accessing the internet. If you pressed NO/BLOCK, you will need to alter this setting in your firewall settings to YES/ALLOW.
